AUBURN AND ALABAMA UNITE: THINGS WRONG WITH COLLEGE FOOTBALL - A-MAZE-ING!

We at The Tide and Tiger are at a loss.  Sometimes some things are so wretched, so full of stench and so pathetic, even Auburn and Alabama fans can unite.  Such is the case with the University of Michigan's tunnel song for the 2011 season.

When we hear this song, we feel like we are listening to the theme song for a WWE wrestler.  Is John Cena going to be Brady Hoke's secret weapon this fall?  If this pablum is what gets Michigan fans pumped up, I'm guessing that Ann Arbor is home to Ed Hardy's flagship store...

(Thanks a lot Creed and Nickelback; you've done more than ruin music)

  1. I like it. It's a lot classier than Rammer Jammer.

  2. "This might sound arrogant, and if it is, it is...we're Michigan"

which is exactly why this song is an abomination.

Yea, but we only sing it after we've beaten that rear. We all know Michigan's not gonna beatup of anyone. Lame song. Although, not much worse than some of the stuff they play in Jordan-Dye-Hare-whatever stadium.

Exactly my point. It is post game taunting which is classless. It is no less classless for Auburn to use the cheer in reverse after we beat you though. You should taunt before and during games, but afterwards fans should show a little class, especially when playing teams like Vandy, LMAO, Kent State etc. A show of class would be to applaud their participation and thank them for coming, not to taunt them off the field with suck as rammer jammer. Just my opinion but a lot of bama fans agree with me, at least the ones that I know.

  5. Rammer Jammer is a tradition. Just as rolling trees in honor of a victory - which I think is pretty classless. Get over it - if you don't want to hear it, just beat Bama!

  6. Seriously... People are still on the Creed & Nickelback hate bandwagon? This song does kinda remind me of Nickelback, I however liked the chorus a lot.
